PNP ex-comptroller Eliseo de la Paz had gone home but the hubbub involving his carrying a valise of P6.9 million to an Interpol assembly in Moscow remained dubious.

For the sake of argument, I will be sold to his math appropriating the P2.3 million cash advance for a costly living in Moscow. But whatever he says about bringing P6.9M in cold cash for the alleged PNP contingency fund is grossly unacceptable. What was that for? And hey, didn’t the PNP man know international aviation SOPs? Fukc.

And why would a wife of the PNP chief be sent to the assembly in his behalf?

The trip is clearly a well-covered junket. Sana nagpulis nalang din ako noh?

On the sidelines of the Interpol assembly, I heard the Philippine delegation tried to seek help of the Interpol in DNA testing of the MV Princess ship’s victims for the lack of funds and equipment.

The government brandished our sorrowed Third World state and yet a police general was caught with 105,000 euros. 

It is downright shameful, a national embarrassment, thank you.
